The Philadelphia Eagles are hosting the number one defense in Week 14.

The Philadelphia Eagles, in Week 14, will be hosting the New Orleans Saints. This will be the 33rd time that these two franchises have faced off, with the series lead belonging to the Eagles by two wins. Well, that’s shocking, isn’t it? The Saints are enjoying a winning streak as, over the course of the last two matchups, they’ve had the Eagles number.

All Philly fans were aware of the fact that the last stretch of the Birds’ schedule in 2020 would be tough. Considering the way the Iggles have been playing, it now looks like an almost impossible hill to climb. The Saints, who boast a 10-2 record on the season, have only lost to two teams with winning records, and they’ve been getting more and more into a serious defensive rhythm as the season has gone on.

A lot of changes have been going on within the Eagles’ roster. The Birds are starting Jalen Hurts at quarterback. Head coach Doug Pederson stated during his Wednesday press conference that Jason Peters and Alshon Jeffery were ‘sore’ and questionable for the Week 14 matchup. Jeffery was a full participant at practice on Thursday though, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

This one’s going to be an interesting one for the fans, but even though there’s only a sliver of a chance that the Eagles might win, there is still a chance. Here are a few concerns that surround this matchup and a preview of what can be expected.
