Here’s how the Philadelphia Eagles pull off the impossible.

We said it last week. The Philadelphia Eagles need a Christmas miracle. At this point, most fans don’t even want a Christmas miracle. They just want a high draft pick. The possibility of selecting LSU Wide Receiver Ja’Mar Chase is becoming more realistic each week. For those who are still holding out hope, they know the New Orleans Saints have one of the best rosters in football.

The biggest storyline of this week has been the Eagles’ quarterback change. Rookie Jalen Hurts will get the start this week. It was best for the team. Carson Wentz is definitely salvageable. but lacking confidence. He is broken. He needs to take a step back and relax. Not to mention, he has a massive contract. Whether they plan to keep him or not, they cannot put his health in jeopardy anymore. His body has taken an absolute beating this year.

In addition, this is the perfect opportunity for the ‘Birds’ to see what they have in their second-round pick. While head coach Doug Pederson hasn’t committed to starting Hurts for the rest of the season, it’s likely to happen and it’s the right move. Even if Hurts struggles in these next four games, it could be a good building block for his sophomore year. Plus, his scrambling ability can help with some of the issues on the offense. They’ll need that with their 12th different starting offensive line in 13 games.

There’s plenty of excitement around Hurts’ first NFL start. It’s something new for this Eagles offense, so with that being said, let’s take a look at how he can snag his first W.
