Philadelphia Eagles fans may need to acknowledge that 11 might be back in 2021.

If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, something is going on with the franchise that you may have already picked up on. Ever since the time ran out on Week 13’s game, there’s been this sentiment that there’s a bit of a quarterback controversy brewing in the City of Brotherly Love.

Some believed that it was a no-brainer that Jalen Hurts take over starting duties on this team for Week 14’s game versus the New Orleans Saints. There was also this idea that it was unfortunate that he had to make his first start versus the NFL’s best defense (statistically), but that’s life in the NFL.

Nobody was expecting to see him play as well as he did though, so now, even though we’re only talking about one full game of action, there are a few Birds fans that are all in. They don’t want to see Carson Wentz on the field as the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles again, and they wouldn’t mind if he was traded for a few picks or something of that nature.

Okay, here’s your reality check. As much as some of the league’s most loyal fan base may not want to hear this, there’s a strong possibility that Carson Wentz isn’t going anywhere. As a matter of fact, several ideas support that theory. We won’t explore all of them, but we definitely want to hit the highlights. Here are three reasons 11 might still be with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020.
