Unlike the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cards have no issues with their linebackers.

You’ve heard this a lot since the most recent NFL Draft. It still bears repeating. The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t selected a linebacker in the first round of any selection meeting since they took Jerry Robinson from UCLA way back in 1979.

It would be nice if they could pluck a few from Arizona’s roster. Believe it or not, the second level of the Cards’ defense could decide this one. Here are five of Arizona’s brightest playmakers on defense.

1. Haason Reddick, linebacker

Prior to Week 14’s game versus the New York Giants, Haason Reddick had five sacks on the 2020 NFL season. When he walked out of MetLife Stadium, he had ten. That’s good enough for a team record, and he even added three forced fumbles to this season’s resume for good measure. Philly had better keep an eye on him at all times.

2. Budda Baker, safety

Budda Baker is going to be very, very good in this league for a very, very long time. After being taken in the second round of 2017’s NFL Draft, just seven picks before Philly took a young stud out of Washington by the name of Sidney Jones, this budding NFL superstar already has two Pro Bowls on his resume. Don’t be surprised if he gets a third nod in 2020.
