The controversy surrounding Carson Wentz won’t end, but why would it?

By the time of this story’s publishing, we’ll be two days out from Christmas (and Happy Holidays to you if you celebrate), but here’s one Philadelphia Eagles fans might have missed due to shopping, trying to get a little overtime in during the holidays, or because they were doing what all of us should have been doing, thinking about the Dallas Cowboys instead of talking about Jalen Hurts and Carson Wentz.

As a football fan, you’ve probably learned by now that there are some things that we’ve said we’re never doing again (and then, we go right ahead and do them anyway). Every week, we say we don’t know why we pay attention to Pro Football Focus and that we don’t understand the rating system. Then, we wait on the rankings and use them as part of our arguments when it’s convenient to do so

If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, you’ve probably started asking yourselves why you listen to anything Skip Bayless or Colin Cowherd have to say. Then, what do we do? You guessed it!

A well-known ESPN analyst rejoins the Carson Wentz discussion.

Speaking of guys that love to hate the Birds sometimes (although we imagine Skip will join the Jalen Hurts bandwagon, being an Oklahoma guy and all), you’ve probably learned that Max Kellerman is firmly on your side if you’re anti-Carson Wentz.

The ESPN analyst recently shared his take on the ever-evolving story of Wentz’s alleged dissatisfaction (Doug Pederson says he’s handled things like a professional). Does he want to stay in Philly or leave? We’ve been told that both statements are accurate. Kellerman appears to be tired of the ‘pouting’. Even if you’re sick of the discussion, here’s one that’s worth a listen

Here’s one where the ITI staff would like to hear from the readers. Is Max Kellerman right about this one? Heck, is he ever right about anything related to Carson Wentz? What do you think?

Sure, it’s getting a little out of hand, but it’s the Philadelphia Eagles and it’s Carson Wentz. It’s hard to ignore what’s being said, but how do you not listen? Football is truly an emotional game, but it’s Dallas Cowboys week. It’s time we start talking about beating that team from Texas.
