The Philadelphia Eagles have a lot of work to do this offseason.

As the Philadelphia Eagles will be playing their last game of the 2021 season in Week 17, it’s never too early to think about the multitude of issues surrounding this team’s personnel. The current roster was supposed to be, at a minimum, a playoff contender, but as Philly fans are well aware, it wasn’t meant to be.

As a matter of fact, if this season taught fans anything, it’s the fact that this team has a ton of needs to even be competitive in their own division, let alone the rest of the NFL. ITI and the rest of the media have discussed the head-scratching roster moves, the overcommitment to aging veterans, and of course, the poor drafting that is hindering this team from building a sustainable future.

So the biggest question to ask is this. Where does this team even start to rebuild? Which area needs the most help? The unfortunate answers to both of these questions are that this team needs help everywhere. What’s frightening is the Eagles’ leadership doesn’t appear to know where to begin.

The staff here at ITI has decades of experience covering the Philadelphia Eagles, and to be blunt, even most of us have no idea where to start, but that doesn’t mean we won’t put on our ‘GM’ caps and give it a go. Okay, with all of that being said, let’s dive into the five biggest roster needs ahead of the 2021 season.
