It was not a good year for the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line.

Offensive Line: C

This may be a higher grade than this unit deserves considering how abysmal the offensive line had been during most of the year, but some bright spots have come out of this unit. Jordan Mailata may be the future left tackle on this line. Nate Herbig locked up the right guard position in the last few weeks of the season, being one of the highest-graded offensive linemen.

It was the veterans of this unit that seemed to have been a big let down. Jason Peters almost destroyed his legacy, Isaac Seumalo looked like the Isaac Seumalo of old, and Lane Johnson couldn’t stay healthy. Some of the worst O-line play came from when these veterans were on the field.

Running Back: C+

The Eagles’ running back unit looked like an extremely promising one after the showcase that Miles Sanders and Boston Scott put on during the final stretch of the 2019 season, and even though there were still some big-time plays from this group, those plays didn’t occur often enough Are you seeing a trend here?

Sanders had multiple drops throughout the season in the passing game. Both Sanders and Scott had trouble finding the running lanes, and Corey Clement was just a body on the roster. Some of the lack of production for this unit has to do with their use and offensive line, but Duce Staley’s guys have to shoulder some of the blame as well.
