Who knows what these Philadelphia Eagles will do.

If we’ve learned anything from previous Philadelphia Eagles drafts, it’s that we should expect the unexpected. That’s exactly what we’re doing in this three-round mock. We’re going with an approach that’s a bit out of the ordinary, with some of these picks anyway.

You might not have your eye on any of these guys but you should. Knowing general manager and vice president Howie Roseman it’s possible that these picks could actually happen.

As much as we all want to believe Howie won’t pass on any star players this time around, fans have major trust issues. Do not be surprised if we hear a name at the sixth pick that we have not been hearing leading up to the draft. It happened last year and on more occasions than we’d like to remember.

In 2020, after the top three receivers were off of the board, most of us thought the Birds would go with Justin Jefferson with the 21st overall selection. Many of us were also intrigued with the idea of possibly taking Jalen Reagor in Round 2. Well, we all know what happened. We also know what happened with J.J. Arcega-Whiteside just one year earlier.

Eagles fans can never be comfortable on draft night. The photo above is a big reason why. We all know how Marcus Smith panned out. On the bright side, even if the Eagles make a surprising selection in Round 1, it’s such a high pick that they should still get an immediate impact player. That is at least what we hope. We wouldn’t blame you for believing otherwise.

April cannot come soon enough especially with the NFL combine recently canceled. Let’s have some fun and look at who the Eagles might land in ITI’s mock draft 3.0.
