It’s time to begin creating a Philadelphia Eagles roster again!

Mock draft season is a wonderful time of year. The staff at ITI just did an unexpected mock draft for the Philadelphia Eagles. We’re trying to brace ourselves for every possible outcome with general manager Howie Roseman still at the helm. Going off of that, we’re going to go to do the opposite of that and go with a simpler approach on this one – an approach that we hope Roseman goes with rather than trying to outsmart everyone.

At his most recent press conference, Roseman did hint at the fact that he regretted his past decisions and was reevaluating things. One of the most notable quotes from Roseman was that he regretted the phrase ‘quarterback factory’ last year. Time will tell if he has really reconsidered his process. We wouldn’t blame you for believing otherwise.

It’s no secret that Philly needs to get back to draft picks like the one in the pick above. They need more early-round picks like Lane Johnson, Fletcher Cox, Miles Sanders, and Dallas Goedert. Even when the Birds clear their cap space, they won’t have much to work with in free agency. They need to hit the nail on the head with this draft.

With the sixth, 38th, and 70th picks in the first three rounds, they’ll have a real opportunity to do that. There’s too much talent early on to waste these picks but as mentioned, we’ve seen it happen before. Here’s to hoping that the front office goes in the right direction. Let’s not waste any more time jumping into mock draft 4.0.
