The Philadelphia Eagles new head coach finally had his first presser.

The Philadelphia Eagles‘ head coach, Nick Sirianni, finally met with the media for the first time on Friday, January 29th. Philly fans finally got to hear some of what he’s been thinking in his own words. This was an important day in that this fan base and the media can finally start evaluating and hearing what the 24th head coach in franchise history’s direction is and how he handles that tough Philadelphia media.

Owner and CEO of the Birds, Jeffrey Lurie, began the press conference and spent some time talking about the hiring process and what really stood out about Nick Sirianni. The following terms were brought up by Lurie about Sirianni multiple times, high character and high football IQ.

From the start, fans could immediately see he’s a motivated individual, which was one of the major things that made him stand out as a candidate. He seemed to be upfront in his answers while guarding his players, the guys he’ll now lead as their new head coach.

After Sirianni’s opening remarks, the media was allowed to ask questions, and they didn’t hold back on any major topics. A few answers stuck out.
