5 Sub-radar Senior Bowl prospects Philadelphia Eagles need to consider
The Philadelphia Eagles can never have enough pass-rushers.
Coastal Carolina defensive end Tarron Jackson is a menace coming off of the edge and could be the game wrecker the Eagles need to add. This six-foot-two prospect has been an issue for offenses throughout his career, posting 25 sacks in four years. Needless to say, he would be a big boost to the Philadelphia Eagles’ pass rush.
While the Eagles house some of the NFL’s best defensive linemen in Flecther Cox and Brandon Graham, they are both getting older, so finding a young prospect who could replace them eventually would behoove the front office.
Jackson is a guy that can stop the run while attacking the quarterback and a player that never seems to ‘chase the poison’. He always seems to be in the right place, and he has the football intelligence that defensive minds covet.
Adding a player like Jackson would be a great start towards replenishing this coveted defensive pass rush while adding a leader and high-character guy. This week, Jackson proved he could play with the best of competition as he shined throughout the week in mobile. There is no doubt that Jackson will hear his name called in the 2021 NFL Draft, and the Philadelphia Eagles would be lucky if they’re the team that’s calling it.
