840. . . . Kyle Pitts. 7. player

The Philadelphia Eagles could do damage with these players.

Kyle Pitts is the most intriguing prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft. Standing at six-foot-six and weighing in at 240 pounds, he’s easily the best tight end prospect in this draft class and is one of the best tight end prospects of all time. His game resembles one of a wide receiver, which is fitting considering the fact that he played on the outside and in the slot during his time at Florida.

The theory is that Zach Ertz likely won’t be an Eagle next season and although Dallas Goedert has proved he can be a TE1, it never hurts to have multiple high-level tight ends.

Head coach Nick Sirianni and offensive coordinator Shane Steichen can get creative with Pitts. The Philadelphia native is an offensive force to be reckoned with, and although he would be a reach at pick 6, his potential as an NFL player is frightening.

. Jaycee Horn. 8. player. 850. .

The ranking of the cornerbacks in this draft class is still a question mark as we near draft day. Each cornerback has their strengths and weaknesses, but Horn is certainly in the conversation for being the best in this class. After watching the film, his physicality becomes apparent, as he likes to press up against receivers and disrupt the timing of plays.

Usually, with physical corners like Horn, speed is an issue, but Horn has enough of it to keep up with the league’s best. His aggressiveness needs to be held in check though, as he has a tendency to be responsible for quite a few penalties. Regardless, Horn is a viable option at pick 6, especially if the Eagles looks to pair Darius Slay with a young first-round cornerback.

. . . Kwity Paye. 9. player. 811

A team can never have too many pass rushers, right? With Derek Barnett’s future in Philly uncertain (even though the fifth-year option on his rookie deal was exercised, the Eagles could opt to take Michigan’s Kwity Paye in the first round. Paye has one of the highest ceilings in this NFL draft.

Standing at six-foot-four and tipping the scales at 271 pounds, he has the power and strength needed to bully offensive linemen as well as the speed necessary to get around them.

As a matter of fact, Paye was a track and field champion in high school before committing to Michigan to play under John Harbaugh. His production in college has been modest, as there are many prospects who boast much better stats, but his potential is what sets him apart.

The Eagles have shown a longtime interest in pass rushers. Expect Paye to shoot up through draft boards after his pro day. He’ll have an ample opportunity to display his athletic ability then.
