Regardless of what we’ve all heard from the media and the Eagles themselves (or what we haven’t heard in Carson Wentz’s case), none of us should blame Hurts for anything he said here. He was asked a few questions. He answered them. He spoke truthfully.
Heck, when was the last time you heard someone from the Eagles organization say something that you believed?
2. The last thing the Philadelphia Eagles need is a QB controversy, right?
Is no one else thinking that a quarterback controversy is the last thing this team needs? The locker room is seemingly in disarray. The coaching structure is made up of a bunch of guys who just earned the right to walk into a bar and buy a drink, and it’s hard to wonder how anyone can be on board with Carson Wentz ever starting for this team again.
Stranger things have happened though, and this is a long way from being over, but again, how does this team go back to Wentz after this season.
