The Philadelphia Eagles are sitting pretty in the first round of the NFL Draft.

The 2020 NFL season was a nightmare for the Philadelphia Eagles players, their front office, and for their fans alike. A season mired in injuries, drama, and self-destruction, perhaps no team is more excited to move away from a 2020 and look toward the future.

The bad news is, as they currently stand, the Philadelphia Eagles roster is in shambles. The good news is the 2021 offseason and NFL Draft are upon us. With that, the opportunity to fill holes across the depth chart while finding and developing talented prospects that could help the Eagles find their way back to a championship is definitely there.

With a brand new head coach and staff in Nick Sirianni and his assistants comes a whole new approach to the draft. How much say will Sirianni have? We will find out soon enough, but for now, we have to assume general manager Howie Roseman will once again make the calls on who this team selects.

Whether that’s a good thing or not, one thing is certain. Roseman can’t overthink this. He truly has to go with the best player available. It isn’t often the Philadelphia Eagles get to select in the top ten of any selection meeting, so having the sixth pick is a great chance to add a game-changer.

We at ITI decided to help the Eagles brass and identify the only five prospects the front office should consider (in no particular order). Is everyone ready? Good! Let’s go!
