829. . . . Devonta Smith, Alabama. . player

Here’s a playmaker to boost the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense.

Okay, this one was easy. Alabama Crimson Tide wideout Devonta Smith could be a difference-maker for the Philadelphia Eagles. Blessed with a unique combination of raw speed, lateral quickness, and game-changing ability, Smith is the type of player you center an offense around.

Recently awarded the Heisman trophy, Devonta Smith, is a touchdown waiting to happen, with arguably the softest hands of any receiver entering the draft and sneaky quickness. A complete surgeon on the offensive side of the ball, Smith has a way of finding the open space and taking advantage of any type of defensive scheme.

The Philadelphia Eagles are in prime position picking at six to land the Alabama product, and if he is available, it would behoove the front office to land him. Adding a player with Devonta Smith’s ability and football intelligence could go a long way in pushing the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense past the point of being average and skyrocket them to sustained dominance.

Devonta Smith is a weapon that any NFL team would be lucky to have. It’s that simple.
