If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, ask any Purdue grad about this guy.

No Chris Olave in this draft class means that Rondale Moore is the cream of the Big Ten’s draft prospect crop when it comes to the wide receiver position. He’s a smaller guy at five-foot-nine and 180 pounds, but he’s a baller.

Now, some of you are probably thinking that the Birds don’t need another small wideout in the nest, and you’d probably be right in that theory, but Moore is too talented to ignore. Just ask any Purdue Boilermakers fan or alum. They’ll definitely be able to tell you how good he is.

Moore is the only guy on this list that can probably run a sub-4.5-second 40. That’s always an attention-getter with NFL fans, but if that doesn’t do it, maybe this will. In 20 career games, Moore racked up 178 receptions, 1,915 receiving yards, and 14 scores. He tallied another 248 yards and three more scores on 30 career rushing attempts.

Now, most of that came in 2018 as a freshman. 2019 was an injury-plagued season thanks to a hamstring issue. He opted out of 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns. He’s completely healthy now, so it will be interesting to hear how he’s evaluated.

Here’s where our staff is. The long and the short of everything is this. Expect Moore to come off of draft boards somewhere between Round 2 and Round 3. We’ve seen him play in seven games since his freshman year, but anyone whose seen him knows exactly how special he is. He gets an A in ITI’s book.
