Philadelphia Eagles scouting reports: Top 4 Big Ten receiver prospects

852. . . . Rashod Bateman. . player
Okay Philadelphia Eagles fans, here’s someone to familiarize yourselves with.
Sure, you’re right in what you’re thinking. The analysis of Rashod Bateman may lead to conflicting reports. In all honesty, had he played in the SEC, we probably wouldn’t be discussing him much at all, but there aren’t any guarantees about that either.
Here’s what we know (or what we think we know). Bateman might need to be the second name on this list, especially following Chris Olave’s decision to remain at Ohio State with the Buckeyes, but after opting back in when the Big Ten decided to play football and after then changing his mind and opting out again after only appearing in five games, most scouts, again, are conflicted. It didn’t help that he wasn’t overly impressive in the games he appeared in.

Bateman stands at six-foot-two inches tall and tips the scales at 210 pounds. He’s hauled in 147 tosses for 2,395 yards and 19 scores in 31 career games, but only 36 of those receptions, 472 of those yards, and two of those touchdowns came in 2020.
Like Ihmir Smith-Marsette, Bateman may not be heavy on the radars of Birds fans, but also like Smith-Barsette, we can probably agree that he’s better than Mack Hollins was and he’s better than ‘JJAW’ is now.
