Jaycee Horn would solidify the backend of the Philadelphia Eagles defense.

South Carolina Gamecock and cornerback Jaycee Horn isn’t that far off from being considered the best corner in the entire draft. Blessed with a natural football intelligence he would be an amazing addition to the Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive backfield.

At six-foot-one and 205-pounds, he has the coveted size and cover skills that defensive coordinators dream about at night. A rare combination of ball skills and a nasty playing style the Gamecock product never shy away from contact and loves to mix it up in the running game.

At times, it looks as if he is running the opposing wideout’s route for them, Horn always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. He’s hard to fool and never chases the bait that opposing offenses throw out in an attempt to confuse defenders. What stands out is his ability to diagnose, read, and react to what an offense is showing. He always seems to be in position to make a play.

Jaycee Horn is definitely a player that’s worth trading down for, especially if the Eagles can add draft picks in the process. He’s what’s known as a steal.
