Philadelphia Eagles: 5 NFL Draft prospects worth trading down for
Here is a pass-rushing monster to boost the Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive unit.
The Miami Hurricanes have been blessed with a bevy of talented pass rushers over time, but Gregory Rousseau is the best of the bunch. Blessed with a unique combination of size (he’s six-foot-seven and tips the scales at 270-pounds), raw quickness, and a freaky athletic ability, he’s someone that the Philadelphia Eagles would need to consider adding.
Rousseau has been a constant headache for opposing offensive coordinators and has always been a guy that teams have to game plan. That’s for good reason. He possesses a great bend when rushing off the edge, but he also has the strength to be able to kick inside and wreak havoc in the center of an offense.
A natural run-stuffer, Rousseau has the ability to break down a play swiftly and blow up a tailback on his way to the quarterback. If the Philadelphia Eagles were to trade down to add currency, landing the Miami product would be an absolute steal.
