How about another Philadelphia Eagles 7-round mock draft?

The 2021 NFL Draft isn’t too far off which means the Philadelphia Eagles and the rest of the National Football League have a great opportunity in front of them. The Eagles’ roster issues have been well documented, and all Birds fans know that this draft may be the most important draft in years. Sure, that’s said every year, but it’s especially true in 2021.

Luckily, the Philadelphia Eagles are sitting pretty for two big reasons. They are picking sixth in the draft. They have their quarterback of the future, so they have a luxury that some teams don’t. With that being said, how about we start this mock draft in typical Howie Roseman fashion? In other words, this draft begins with a trade.

Let’s just say the Philadelphia Eagles and the Carolina Panthers strike a deal. Philly gives up the sixth pick, their seventh-round pick (233), and a  sixth-round pick in 2022. In return, they get the eighth pick, the 40th pick), the 72nd pick (that’s in the third round), the 113th pick (a fourth-rounder), and the 185th selection (a fifth-rounder).

Both sides are winners if this happens as the Panthers get their future franchise quarterback, and the Eagles add capital to address more holes. Here’s a breakdown of how things shake up once that happens.
