An underrated pass-rusher that could be the Philadelphia Eagles’ next star.

Round 6: Tarron Jackson, defensive end, Coastal

Last week at the Senior Bowl, Coastal Carolina defensive end Tarron Jackson showed the world he belongs in the conversation as one of the best edge defenders in college. The six-foot-two, 265-pound prospect is a terror coming off of the edge for any offense. He has the natural ability to be a mainstay in the NFL.

Imagining a three-way combination of Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat, and Tarron Jackson would have any Eagles fan excited. While Jackson is not a household name as of right now, don’t be fooled. He’s a star in the making and has the tools to be a legitimate star.

Round 6: (2nd pick) Charles Snowden, Virginia

Virginia Cavaliers defender Charles Snowden saw his stock drop due to a late-season injury this past season. Despite that, Snowden is a monster on the defensive side of the ball, one with freaky size (he’s six-foot-seven and weighs 245 pounds). What’s crazy is his athletic ability is even freakier.

Snowden is fully capable of becoming one of those ‘positionless players’ that Jim Schwartz used to rave about. Regardless of where you line him up, he’ll produce, so if there’s an opportunity to land him in the sixth round, he’d be a giant land for the Philadelphia Eagles.

He can be used as a pass rusher. He can be used in space (and in coverage). He can also be used as a run stuffer. The Philadelphia Eagles need to add talent to this defensive roster badly. Snowden would be a huge help in doing so.
