The defensive backfield should be the Philadelphia Eagles’ top priority.

Every Philadelphia Eagles fan is well aware of the struggles this team had weekly throughout 2020’s season. There has been a revolving door of talent (or lack thereof), and that seems to have become a tradition in the City of Brotherly Love. It seems as though the Birds have been cursed after letting Hall-of-Famer Brian Dawkins walk away in free agency and they traded cornerback Asante Samuel away.

Whatever the case, the Philadelphia Eagles’ front office can no longer sit idly while another season of below-average play plagues this team. Despite having veteran defensive backs on the team like Rodney Mcleod, Jalen Mills, and Darius Slay currently, there’s a chance that Slay might be the only guy in that trio that might still be on the roster when the 2021 season begins.

The good news for the Eagles’ brass is the 2021 NFL Draft is smothered in cornerback and safety talent, so there won’t be a huge issue in finding help.

We at ITI read over the list of the defensive back prospects that should be available come April, and in addition to some of the under-the-radar talent we’ve identified earlier, we’ve come up with three more players, that possess immense talent, and could boost the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense immediately. Here they are in no particular order.
