Philadelphia Eagles: Top 3 options with the sixth pick
Micah Parsons could help transform the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense.
Penn State Nittany Lion linebacker Micah Parsons is no normal defender and would be an immediate upgrade for the Philadelphia Eagles defense. Built like a defensive end at six-foot-three 250-pounds, Parsons is a complete monster at the second level.
Philadelphia Eagles fans have had their hearts set on a star wideout to kick the 2021 NFL Draft off, but respectfully, none of those guys are Micah Parsons. A true three-down backer, the sideline to sideline headache always seems to the best athlete on the field.
While he is great in coverage and a brick wall in the running game, his biggest value, aside from his leadership, is his pass-rushing ability.
If the Philadelphia Eagles were to land the Nittany Lion product at six, they would be able to use him in a multitude of ways. He is a pure thumper and sets the tone with his violent play. He also has a nasty demeanor when the lights turn on. Needless to say, landing Parson would be a huge win for the Philadelphia Eagles.
