Several Philadelphia Eagles should excel with Jalen Hurts under center.

Thank goodness the Carson Wentz zoo has finally come to its end. Now, we can all finally move on. The former second-overall selection’s story will continue in Indy, and Birds fans everywhere are ready to see what second-year quarterback Jalen Hurts can do as he takes the reins for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021 (we think).

Philly’s front office has a big job ahead of itself as it will look to add talent around Hurts. General manager Howie Roseman has his eyes set on the free-agent market and the 2021 NFL Draft and will be carefully crafting a new Eagles depth chart, but there are several guys who are already on the roster that should benefit from working with Jalen Hurts.

Philly’s current QB1 is an explosive playmaker that’s willing to throw into tight spots, but he has no problem with tucking the ball and running. It’s his leadership that will help others emerge. As they say, iron sharpens iron, and here are a few of the obvious weapons that can be unlocked in this new Eagles attack.
