The Philadelphia Eagles add another promising prospect at defensive end.

Round 6: Edge rusher Malik Herring, Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia Bulldogs edge defender Malik Herring will remind Philadelphia Eagles fans of defensive great Brandon Graham. The versatile defensive lineman has the size (he’s six-foot-three and 280 pounds) and the natural skill set to be a dominant force at the highest level.

Like Graham, Herring has the ability to be as destructive over the center as he is off of the edge. He has great speed for a man his size and the violent hands that coaches love in their defenders. He also has a motor that never seems to stop in-game.

The front office needs to identify young up-and-coming pass rushers to eventually take the reigns. Adding Herring here would give Philly a great talent that can learn from Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham. That would definitely pay off in the long run as this team moves toward its future.

Finding talent with Malik Herring’s potential this late in the 2021 NFL Draft would be a steal.
