The first four picks make the Philadelphia Eagles’ decision an easy one.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars: QB Trevor Lawrence, Clemson

There are very few guarantees in the NFL. Being the unpredictable league that it is, it’s very dangerous to pencil something in as a sure thing. That theory probably doesn’t apply here though.

Trevor Lawrence to the Jaguars is a guarantee. You can bet on the former Clemson Tiger being the first name announced in the 2021 NFL Draft.

2. New York Jets: QB Zach Wilson, BYU

After missing out on the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes, the New York Jets find themselves in an intriguing situation. This pick will come down to whether or not the Jets believe that Sam Darnold is a franchise quarterback. Wilson’s mobility and arm strength, however, make him a perfect candidate to replace Darnold as the face of the Jets franchise.

3. Miami Dolphins: WR Ja’Marr Chase, LSU

If taken at third overall, Ja’Marr Chase would be the first wide receiver taken in the top three since Calvin Johnson in the 2007 draft. His ability to catch any type of pass combined with his big-play aptitude makes him a true candidate to be a top-three pick. Chase is a dangerous receiver that could help Tua Tagovailoa reach his maximum potential as a passer.

4. Atlanta Falcons: OT Penei Sewell, Oregon

While many may be clamoring for a quarterback here, Sewell is too valuable of a prospect to let slip. Matt Ryan has never been the issue for the Atlanta Falcons. It’s been their offensive line play and how much help he has on defense. Expect the Falcons to take the best player available here rather than forcing a premature transformation at the quarterback position.
