829. . . . Round 2: Landon Dickerson, Alabama. . player

Dickerson is a versatile weapon that the Philadelphia Eagles need right away.

At six-foot-six and 325-pounds, Alabama Crimson Tide offensive lineman Landon Dickerson is a mountain of a man as well as a versatile difference-maker that could help the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense.

While adding playmakers for new offensive coordinator Shane Steichen is a must, the offensive line is another unit that needs to be addressed immediately. If the Philadelphia Eagles want to compete in the NFC East again, they have to protect Hurts.

Dickerson has the tools and skillset to change the offensive line’s fortunes right away. He could be the Birds’ long-term answer at the center position. He could also be a plug-and-play starter anywhere across the line of scrimmage.

He has a unique combination of size, athletic ability, and football intelligence. That could help the Philadelphia Eagles offense and have fans cheering again. The front office needs to build from the ball out and landing the former Crimson Tide prospect would be a huge get for the franchise.

Imagining this monster in midnight-green could get fans excited. The Birds need a player with Dickerson’s potential and playing style to set the tone.
