News travels fast around the Philadelphia Eagles fan base and in the Philly media. There’s no sense in boring you with yet another long soliloquy about Jason Kelce‘s announcement. This is the Birds’ fan base we’re discussing. Five minutes after news like this breaks, it’s been retweeted several thousand times and nine stories have been written, most of which say the same thing,

Jason Kelce is back! Yep, we know, and everyone’s ecstatic, as they should be. Perhaps the best sixth-round draft choice in franchise history, Philly’s center and anchor of the offensive line will officially enter his 11th season of NFL competition, all of which have been with the Eagles.

Here’s a walk down memory lane for Philadelphia Eagles fans.

During what’s arguably been a career that should make him Pro Football Hall of Fame worthy, the author of the greatest speech in the history of victory parades has earned four Pro Bowl nods (2014, 2016, 2019, 2020), three First-team All-Pro nods (2017–2019) and was part of the Built Ford Tough Offensive Line of the Year in 2017. He’s back, and everyone’s pumped, including fans and the media.

If the Philadelphia Eagles were Marvel’s Avengers, Kelce would be Iron Man as this young man hasn’t missed a game since the 2014 season. On the first Friday in March, he announced his return vis his Instagram account stating the following:

"Man, the first week of March 2021 is one for the record books!!!! Got to welcome baby #2 Elliotte Ray Kelce into the world, got my first dose of the Moderna Vaccine at the wonderful Puentes de Salud medical clinic, and restructured my contract to ensure I will continue to be the Center for the Philadelphia Eagles."

It’s good to finally get some good news out of the NovaCare Complex.

Here are some of the best reactions if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Kelce’s agreed to a new deal, one that pays him $9 million that’s fully guaranteed and contains incentives that could help him max it out to $12 million. That’s about a $4 million raise that came after the birth of his second born. In short, the Kelce family is having a great week.

Did we mention that it’s good to finally hear some good news about this team? Party up Philly! One of the question marks about the Eagles offensive line has been answered. Somewhere Jalen Hurts is smiling.
