Fans of the Philadelphia Eagles have been subjected to an emotional rollercoaster. It began with a horrific 2020 NFL season. That seemed to roll over into the early stages of the 2021 season. Then, there’s this. After watching the franchise quarterback (Carson Wentz) get shipped off to Indianapolis, the rumor mill has been in full swing. Expect the focus now to shift to the best tight end in Philly’s history.

The Eagles seem to be the subject of trade talks every week. All-Pro tight-end Zach Ertz is said to be on the trade block, and there are talks that he could be moved in the very near future.

Rumors of the Philadelphia Eagles moving Zach Ertz are nothing new.

The Ertz rumors are nothing new to fans. Last year, it had been reported that the Philadelphia Eagles had been in deep discussions to move the former Stanford Cardinal. The Baltimore Ravens were one of the teams on the receiving end of the deal.

Fast forward to the present, and the rumors continue to swirl around Ertz and these Eagles. Regardless of what side you sit on, Philadelphia is led by their maverick general manager, one Howie Roseman. He’s a sucker for trades, and with Philly being in rebuilding mode, moving on from 86 makes sense.

Here is the perfect trade for the Philadelphia Eagles.

With all of that this being said, here’s the perfect scenario and the best team to strike a deal with. The Eagles need to add draft capital, and they also need to infuse some youth to their roster. Okay, here’s the idea. The Philadelphia Eagles dance with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Trending. A seven-round, fan-controlled NFL mock draft. light

Philadelphia sends Zach Ertz and a 2021 sixth-round pick to Cincy. The Bengals send over a fourth-round, a seventh-round pick, and cornerback Darius Phillips. Both teams add a player that they could use right away. Both teams get draft compensation. If anyone has any better ideas, they’re welcome. In the meantime, the debate table is open.
