847. . . . Round 1: Caleb Farley, Virginia Tech. . player

Farley could be a potential star for the Philadelphia Eagles moving forward.

Virginia Tech Hokies cornerback Caleb Farley has all the tools to be a shutdown corner in the NFL. At six-foot-two and 205 pounds, he has the size that coaches covet as well as the rare combination of athletic ability, aggressiveness, and arguably the fastest feet in this year’s draft.

The Philadelphia Eagles could use another talented corner to team with Darius Slay. Farley has a swagger to his playing style that fans will love. He’s a disciplined defensive back while in coverage despite only truly playing the position for three years.

What is most impressive about the former Hokie is his speed and football intelligence. Farley always seems to be in the right place at the right time. He also has the speed to run with any wideout. The Eagles front office needs to add talent on both sides of the ball. Caleb Farley could be a great investment to begin the process.
