player. 814. . . . Round 5: Richard Lecounte III, Georgia.

The Philadelphia Eagles need to add talent to the backend of their defense.

University of Georgia defensive back Richard LeCounte III was an underrated monster on the back end of the Bulldogs defense. As you may have witnessed, the Philadelphia Eagles need to fix their defensive backfield to compete with all of those talented NFC teams, and this young man could be part of the process to make that happen.

The five-foot-eleven, 195-pound Georgia product has all the tools to be a standout in the NFL. If the Birds have a chance to add LeCounte when they begin looking for defensive back help after Round 3, they need to pull the trigger.

The Philadelphia Eagles find help for Miles Sanders in Round 5.

The Eagles have a star in Miles Sanders, but they need to give him some help. Ohio State running back Trey Sermon would be a great fit in the Birds offense. Blessed with great feet, a strong lower body, and the speed to pull away from defenses, Sermon would be a great second option at tailback for Philly’s offense.

Adding someone of his talent in the fifth round would be an absolute steal for this Eagles team.
