The choice here is obvious for the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans.

There are some questionable guys from the Big Ten who are a part of this 2021 draft class. Some guys didn’t quite do what we thought they might, but that can be said about quite a few guys in every draft from every Power Five Conference. When it comes to ‘sure things’, they don’t come around quite as often. With that being said, teams need to move when they think they’ve found one.

As far as the Big Ten is concerned, you can expect to see a few guys join NFL teams come April. One of which will be one of those aforementioned sure things. This one plays the linebacker position, which has long been seen as the forgotten position in this Philadelphia Eagles franchise. Let’s be frank though.

If we were running a draft in which the Eagles were only able to rely on Big Ten talent, there’s only one option for the Birds at six. His name is Micah Parsons.

You’ve heard this countless times, so much that you’re sick of hearing it, but it’s worth stating again. The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t taken a linebacker in Round 1 of any draft since they took Jerry Robinson in 1979. If they were to buck that trend, Parsons is the perfect choice to help them make that decision. He’ll be playing on Sundays for a long time.
