If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, how much faith do you have in Howie?
For most of you Philadelphia Eagles fans, one of the best parts of the elementary school experience was the moment when you got to bring the report cards home. Let’s be honest though. For some of you, that was a day of great shame as you envisioned the spanking that would occur.
That’s if you didn’t know the phone numbers of someone you knew that knew how to forge signatures.
Wouldn’t it be cool to see some of Howie Roseman and Jeffrey Lurie’s report cards? Both probably excelled at math, though you’d never know that by watching Howie juggle the salary cap. What were their report cards look like now? Maybe we’ll never know, but here’s what we can say.
Both of these guys are smart. They just aren’t football guys, and that’s true no matter how many times they try to prove to us that they are. The most irritating thing, however, is this. They’ve gotten to the point where they seem to think this fan base is slow or something. They just say things that don’t make sense and expect everyone to just gobble up the breadcrumbs.
Sometimes, they fool us, for a week or so anyway. Other times, the untruths are a little easier to pick out, but here are four times the owner or GM (or both) almost had us fooled. Here are four times that Birds fans were duped by Howie and Jeffrey.
