817. . . . Round 1: Ja'Marr Chase, LSU. . player

The Philadelphia Eagles fan favorite could be the perfect pick-up.

The six-foot, 210-pound Ja’Marr Chase is a big play waiting to happen. He has all the tools and the skill set to be a star in the Philadelphia Eagles offense. A true threat to score anytime he has the ball in his hands, Chase is arguably the most dominant offensive weapon in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Philly went with a receiver in the first round last season, but passing up on a talent like the Tiger product could be a bad idea. Adding a talent like Chase to help second-year signal-caller Jalen Hurts could go a long way in building a dominant team.

Versatility is the key when studying the rising star. He’s just as good in the slot as he is on the outside. A complete route runner, Chase is one of the more NFL-ready wideouts at this point. He has the speed to pull away from defenders at any level and the strength to lower his shoulder and punish defenders.

The Eagles need to add talent to their offense immediately and adding Chase could be a great step in the right direction.
