The Philadelphia Eagles should eye UGA’s Pro Day as the new league year begins.

As you get a little older, you begin noticing things. That’s true whether you’re a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles or any of the other 31 teams. Raise your hands if this sounds familiar.

The years begin flying by as you get older. In some ways, it feels like 2021 just started, but we’re already past the middle of March. That means the new NFL year is upon us, but this year March 17th was special for two other reasons. One, it’s Saint Patrick’s Day, and second, the Georgia Bulldogs held their Pro Day, one that was also televised on Saint Patrick’s Day at 9 PM EST on NFL Network.

If the Philadelphia Eagles are looking to build a roster full of talent, hanging out in Athens might have been one of the better places to begin doing so. They and all 31 of the other NFL franchises were represented.

Typically, when you think about the Dawgs, you think about running backs, but with no major talents at that position to speak of in the 2021 NFL Draft class, it’s time to focus on a few guys that can come in and benefit the Birds immediately. Tre’ McKitty, their tight end, transferred from Florida State and only caught six passes during the 2020 season, but he got an invite to the Senior Bowl. Apparently, he got some nice reviews while there.

He’s someone that could be a mid-round prospect as Philly possibly looks for Zach Ertz’s replacement. Write his name down as someone the Birds should be interested in. What follows is a list of five other guys who fall in the same category. We begin in the trenches.
