The Philadelphia Eagles still have hope in free agency.

It’s not surprising the Philadelphia Eagles were quiet during the first wave of free agency. Even with multiple player cuts and contract restructures, the team’s cap space situation is less than ideal.

While they weren’t able to hand out any long-term contracts, they did find a hidden gem in Anthony Harris. The former Vikings safety has nine interceptions over the last three seasons and looks like he will be a strong addition in the starting lineup next to Eagles mainstay and veteran Rodney McLeod.

With the second wave of free agency just getting underway, the Birds can now look for bargain contracts and one-year rentals to add both value and depth. There’s nothing wrong with finding a few deals right?

Whether it’s a veteran who can help both on the field and in the locker room or a younger player that needs a fresh start, the Eagles need to become more aggressive this week searching for talent. Here are three players that should interest them, three capable prospects that won’t break the bank if they’re acquired.
