Philadelphia Eagles should pursue these 3 impactful free agents
The Philadelphia Eagles linebacker group needs this veteran presence.
Whether it was trading for players like DeMeco Ryans or Kiko Alonso, or signing free agents such Nigel Bradham, Howie Roseman seems to have a thing for acquiring linebackers during free agency.
After letting Duke Riley and Nathan Gerry walk, the Philadelphia Eagles linebacker group consists of Alex Singleton, T.J. Edwards, Davion Taylor, and Shaun Bradley. In other words, they could use an impactful veteran such as K.J Wright to make up for the lack of experience.
Seattle has been rumored to re-sign the linebacker, but it won’t be cheap. Wright has clearly stated that he isn’t taking any type of discount. Check out what he said to Around The NFL recently.
Although Wright is 31 years old, his production on the field hasn’t declined. In 2020, the linebacker racked up 86 tackles (11 of which resulted in a loss of yardage). He also forced fumbles, an interception, and two sacks. If Seattle and Wright can’t negotiate and come up with a new deal, Howie Roseman should try to lure the free agent to Philadelphia as quickly as possible.
