Summary: Watching the Cowboys flutter around in mediocrity for 20 years has been a highlight for anyone that isn’t a fan of this team. They are second in the NFC East in regular-season wins over the last 20 seasons. Still, all of that has amounted to a mere three playoff wins and zero Super Bowl appearances.

Dallas has inexplicably soared to the top spot on Forbes list of most valuable sports franchises. The Cowboys are the Football version of sparkling water, everybody is buying it but it’s never really that good.

Every year the ‘experts’ predict them to win the NFC East, make deep playoff runs, and represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Every year it’s the same old story, ‘What has gone wrong in Big D?”

The media hasn’t celebrated mediocrity at this level since the Delorean came out. While Dallas might be in the best shape of any team in the NFC East right because they may have the most talented quarterback, the last 20 years are saying something else. Let’s just wait and see what happens.
