Ranking Philadelphia Eagles six best options at 12th selection in NFL Draft
The Philadelphia Eagles will still have a ton of options at number 12.
Here’s some outstanding news if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan. In talking to a lot of these NFL Draft pundits, much of the ITI staff believes that we’ve figured this thing out. Four quarterbacks are coming off of the board during the first four selections, and that means some really talented players that we thought would hear their names called early will still be on the board when the Birds are on the clock at number 12.
Nothing’s changed at number one. The Jacksonville Jaguars are taking Trevor Lawrence, and we’ve been saying that since about January.
Zach Wilson is the guy at number two. He’s going to the New York Jets. No one believes that the San Francisco 49ers traded up to the third-overall selection to take anything other than a signal-caller. The Denver Broncos need a quarterback too. Come on. Drew Lock is more interested in dancing than being a legitimate starter.
That means the Niners and Broncos will take Justin Fields and Trey Lance off of the board. You all can argue among yourselves about which guy goes where.
The Cincinnati Bengals, at five, will invest in some insurance for Joe Burrow with the selection of Penei Sewell, but don’t be surprised if they go with Rashawn Slater. It’s going to be very surprising if Kyle Pitts and Ja’Marr Chase get past the Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions at number seven. That means nothing intriguing will happen until the Carolina Panthers are on the board at number 8.
Let’s skip ahead to pick number 12 though. That’s why we’re all here right? Here’s a ranking of some of the best options that might still be available when the Philadelphia Eagles are finally on the clock.
