2. player. 850. . . . Jaycee Horn

Will Jaycee Horn even be available for the Philadelphia Eagles at 12?

Week after week, Jaycee Horn was asked to do things that most cornerbacks in the SEC or any other Power Five school didn’t have to worry about.

We’ve seen him cover Florida’s Kyle Pitts on an island. He’s been seeing blanketing Elijah Moore in the slot or ‘Z position’. He’s even been placed in single coverage versus the aforementioned DeVonta Smith.

He hasn’t been perfect, but he’s been good enough. Jaycee Horn can be coached into something special, and after 101 total tackles, three sacks, two picks, and 23 pass deflections in 30 career games, this young man was already seen as one of the more impressive prospects in this year’s draft class.

Then, as if that wasn’t an impressive enough resume, after a nice Pro Day at South Carolina where this prospect ran an impressive 4.39-second 40-yard dash, showcased a 41.5-inch vertical, and went for 11.1 feet in the broad jump, Horn’s star is rising. He should still be available at12 though, and if he is, it will be hard for the Birds to ignore him. Write his name down if you haven’t already done so.
