With the twelfth pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select?

Vice president and general manager Howie Roseman sent shockwaves through the football world as it was announced that he had decided to trade back from the sixth pick to the twelfth. Needless to say, the move left some Philadelphia Eagles fans speechless, while others were in an uproar.

The Eagles rarely have the opportunity to pick in the top ten of any draft, so fans were looking forward to landing a potential blue-chip prospect. While some may be upset about the move, there is also reason to be excited. The talent pool in the 2021 NFL Draft is thick, so the Birds will more than likely have a long list of top-tier prospects available at 12.

Let’s be frank. The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t one or two pieces away from being playoff contenders, so adding draft capital in a year filled with potential game-changers could go a long way in building a successful franchise. This team has a ton of areas that need to be addressed.

The Eagles will have some options at 12, but let’s talk about some potential surprises that they may want to consider. Might we go so far as to say that some of these guys are steals?
