852. . . . WR Rashod Bateman, Minnesota . . player

Bateman could boost the Philadelphia Eagles’ passing attack right away.

Minnesota Golden Gopher wide receiver Rashod Bateman is every bit of six-foot-two and 215 pounds. He has strong hands to go with his big body as well as the unique skill set that could help him become being the best receiver of the entire 2021 NFL Draft class.

How he’s gone unnoticed so often to this point is a mystery that no one has a very good answer for. He has the rare combination of natural speed, tough-guy mentality, and physical tools that should allow him to dominate defenders at every level of an opposing defense. Bateman is a versatile weapon that can be used in a multitude of ways at the next level.

He loves creating contact while playing over the middle, but he also has the speed to pull away from defenders and score from anywhere on the field. He can haul passes in or take a handoff and score with his shifty footwork. Needless to say, he would be an excellent acquisition for a team in dire need of an offensive makeover.

If the Philadelphia Eagles want to build around their new signal-caller, adding Bateman could be a great start to the process, one that could prove to be a great investment for years to come.
