The Philadelphia Eagles have an interesting prospect in Aaron Robinson.

After a single season and appearing in four games with the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2016, Aaron Robinson left Tuscaloosa for Orlando, and despite totaling 98 total tackles, 16 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and an interception in 26 career games with the UCF Knights, Robinson has flown under the radar during the draft process.

No disrespect to Gus Malzahn and company, but we know why that is. It’s because Aaron Robinson played for the UCF Knights.

Physically, there isn’t much to complain about with this guy. He’s six-foot-one and tips the scales at 193 pounds, and after a solid showing at the Senior Bowl, his name became one that people started saying more often. Place him right behind Caleb Farley, Patrick Surtain, Jaycee Horn, and Tyson Campbell. Place him ahead of guys like Greg Newsome II, Kelvin Joseph, and Eric Stokes.

Don’t be surprised if Robinson slips into the end of Round 1 in 2021’s NFL Draft. He’s that good, but let’s real. He’s still ‘boom-or-bust material having played against the second-tier competition in college.
