Here are several potential late-round Philadelphia Eagles prospects from the SEC.

Those of you that have grown weary of the sentiment that the SEC isn’t the best football conference in the NCAA need to get over it. Some of the best football is played in the south. Philadelphia Eagles fans know that, and much of the rest of the football universe knows that. NFL teams don’t keep plucking guys out of this conference for no reason.

Sure, the pessimist can bring up how bad Vanderbilt is, but they’d probably win a lot of these other conferences if they were transplanted elsewhere. From an NFL standpoint, if a team is looking to rebuild, examining the 14 teams in the Southeastern Conference are a nice starting point to begin the scouting process.

The Birds have six picks between Round 5 and Round 7 once the NFL Draft arrives. Nailing those picks will be the difference between whether this team gets better and does so more quickly or not.

You know what they say. The offense sells tickets, but the defense wins championships. Might any of these prospects aid Philly to a Vince Lombardi Trophy like a fellow late-rounder and former SEC standout Jalen Mills did in 2017? Here’s a list of some nice potential late-round options.
