The Philadelphia Eagles cornerback room really needs to add some help

The front office did a great job adding a bit of talent to their cornerback room. Moving forward they need to continue adding talent to their defensive backfield. That is where South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn comes in. He’s been blessed with great size at six-foot-one and 205 pounds, freakish athletic ability, and the aggressive nature Eagles fans adore in their defenders.

Arguably the best defensive back in the entire draft, Horn has the ball skills and vision to be a shutdown corner in the National Football League. A physical player by nature, the Gamecock product loves to put his nose on the football. He is as close to a sure tackler as you will get in this draft, and he loves to lay the boom on receivers.

Horn has the smooth hip movement needed to turn and run with even the fastest of wideouts as well as the football intelligence to keep himself in the right place at the right time. The Eagles could use a player like this to help boost their defensive passing game. He’d fill in as the number two corner right away, and he could become the best cornerback that they have in the very near future.
