Philadelphia Eagles draft: 10 More linebacker targets who aren’t Parsons
Let’s talk about ten more Philadelphia Eagles linebackers prospects.
Whew! When they said the NFL Draft isn’t an exact science, they weren’t playing, were they? If you’re one of the Philadelphia Eagles fans who can’t seem to stop watching the film on all of these college prospects, don’t fret. Much of the Inside The Iggles staff is in the same boat.
Here’s what you find out when you watch film though. Sometimes, even if you know what you’re looking at, it’s hard to tell if that quarterback or wide receiver was wrong. Sometimes, you learn that the right tackle keeps jumping offsides because the center is doing something in error.
How to slot guys is often subjective. You know who the best guys are. You know who the worst guys are, but it’s hard to tell if the fourth guy should be the fifth sometimes.
Right around the second Saturday of April, our staff dropped a ranking featuring the names of the ten best linebacker options for the Eagles that aren’t named Micah Parsons. There’s a lot to like about our list, but we welcome debate. Give that one a look when you can.
Here were the names on that list: Tony Fields II, Baron Browning, K.J. Britt, Dylan Moses, Monty Rice, Nick Bolton, Chazz Surratt, Jabril Cox, Jamin Davis, and Zaven Collins. All are great talents, but how about we do that again?
Here are ten more linebackers that didn’t make our first list but still deserve an honorable mention. Philly would be wise to watch a little bit of tape on each one.
