3 Ideal pass-rushers Philadelphia Eagles could land on Day 3
The Philadelphia Eagles have a chance to alleviate an underrated roster issue.
Things have been a bit of a rollercoaster in the City of Brotherly Love. With the stain of a horrific 2020 season on its heart in its rearview mirror, the Philadelphia Eagles have nowhere to go but up.
Howie Roseman has done a so-so job, dealing with their cap issues, a coaching search, and locker room drama. Now, with a less than ideal roster, the Eagles need to utilize the 2021 NFL Draft to the best of their ability.
Up until now, fans and media alike have spoken at length about the Philadelphia Eagles’ need to add another wideout or defensive back. While these are two legitimate needs, the Eagles need to add their defensive line and their pass-rushers.
While the appropriate attention isn’t always paid to the position, the only way to compete in the NFL is to pass the ball and rush the opposing team’s signal-caller, so the Eagles have to find talented players to fill in at this role.
It’s expected that the Eagles will address the wide receiver and cornerback positions early on in the draft. With that in mind, here are three prospects that could both interest the team as well as be available on day three of the selection meeting.
