The Philadelphia Eagles may not lose much by moving back four spots.

This is where it feels like the gap in talent begins to become noticeable. Three teams sit between the 12th pick and where the Arizona Cardinals are at 16: the Los Angeles Chargers, the Minnesota Vikings, and the New England Patriots.

The Chargers and Vikes may want to address their needs along their offensive lines before they do anything else, but you never know with these things.

Here Philly might be in a spot where they can bait Arizona into trading up if one of these top-shelf wide receivers falls to 12. The offensively-minded Kliff Kingsbury might not be able to avoid the temptation.

The Patriots are seemingly set (or satisfied) at the cornerback position with one of the game’s best, Stephon Gilmore. They also signed J.C. Jackson to a one-year deal and former Eagle Jalen Mills to a four-year deal during the offseason.

If Philly believes they could slide back and acquire a few more picks while still landing the cover guy they wanted, this might be the play. If the thought is they want a wide receiver, this may not be wise as swapping picks with the Cards they get another wideout in their wheelhouse that the Eagles desperately wanted to get their hands on (see DeAndre Hopkins).
