One more Philadelphia Eagles seven-round NFL mock draft
The Philadelphia Eagles find some thunder to go with all of that lightning.
Perhaps the largest criticisms of the Philadelphia Eagles running back room are the ones that most of us seemingly have been making since LeGarrette Blount left. This team is going to kill Miles Sanders if they don’t find him some help, and for the most part, it would be very difficult to tell Philly’s tailbacks apart if they all wore visors and no one had numbers on their jerseys.
That doesn’t include Boston Scott. He’s so short that, of course, you’d recognize him, but the point is the Birds have a lot of guys that do the same thing. Don’t you dare say that Jordan Howard is a power back. Don’t you dare!
For that reason, let’s talk about some Arkansas Razorbacks football. Rakeem Boyd didn’t hit the holes too well in 2020, but you watched the Razorbacks pig sooie all over the field last year. It wasn’t often that Boyd has holes to run through.
Still, even with that being said, Boyd is a low-risk and high-reward option with the second of the Eagles’ two compensatory picks. If he can translate some of the old tape on him to the professional level, the Birds are in business.
