One more Philadelphia Eagles seven-round NFL mock draft
Yes, the Philadelphia Eagles remembered to add a tight end.
Who knows how these things go sometimes, but if Zach Ertz does stay in Philly for the coming campaign (remember, he is signed through 2021), the Birds still need a third tight end behind both him and Dallas Goedert.
Look no further. There’s a chance that the Eagles could luck up and get Brevin Jordan in Round 3. That would be a great thing if you’re a fan of this proud franchise.
The argument can be made that he’s one of the top ten prospects at his position, but you can also argue that, once you get past Kyle Pitts, guys like Pat Freiermuth, Tre’ McKitty, and Hunter Long are better. With that being said, there’s a chance that the six-foot-three, 245-pound Jordan is still available when the Eagles are on the board at 84.
In 26 career games at the collegiate level with the Miami Hurricanes, Jordan snagged 105 passes thrown in his direction for 1,358 yards and 13 trips to the end zone. He immediately upgrades the Eagles at tight end, and truthfully, he could leap Jason Croom, Tyree Jackson, and Caleb Wilson on the depth chart just by stepping in the building.
